The customer is responsible to approve final proof and layout prior to the printing process. A signature sign-off is required. Any jobs that have been approved and/or or sent to print cannot be altered or changed due to the nature of the printing process, and no refund will be given. Issues and concerns of your project must be addressed at the time of approval and pick-up.

A digital proof will be available for your review after you have approved your design. We require customers to check the electronic proof of their artwork before submitting the approval. No job will be sent to press without your written approval.

A digital proof is NOT an accurate color reproduction of your final printed piece but is the final opportunity for you to check the layout and final text. All colors displayed look different in person than on a computer screen due to the individual monitor or screen color settings. The proof should be checked by you for possible errors in layout, information, copy, spacing, punctuation or image placement. Digital proofs do not show transparency and over print issues. They also do not show the color change from RGB or Pantone to CMYK. CAD Vinyl materials and digitally printed vinyl also have color variations. We will try our best to match the colors of the proof and the final printed product but please understand that color variation differences are inherent inconsistencies of the printing process and we will not be held responsible for it. It is the customer’s responsibility to determine if the job is color critical

A color print proof is a printed proof of the art file displaying an accurate representation of color which is used to match the piece when it’s printed. While only accurate with CMYK built files, they are not accurate for PMS colors unless a CMYK conversion has been agreed upon. We will match color on previous and provided artwork as best we can, but due to printer variations, graphics that have been produced by another company and/or have been subject to weatherization, up to a 10% variation on color printing is probable. A signature sign-off is required for color proof prints before final printing.

If you provide artwork, designs and images should be provided in minimum of 300 DPI, CMYK color mode, and vector format if available. Artwork that is not provided with these specifications will be subject to an art set-up fee for the time necessary to prepare your art for final printing. Douglas Williams Graphics is NOT RESPONSIBLE for images printed as fuzzy, distorted or pixilated due to low resolution artwork provided by the customer, especially if it is approved by the customer who said it was print-ready.

Thank you for understanding.
